Hydrotec & Engineering Consultants has extensive experience in river and coastal modelling including 1D and 2D model building, calibration and verification for assessing the fluvial, pluvial and coastal flood risk and morpho-dynamics. We provide sustainable solutions to clients with various risk assessments of the uncertainties and follow the Environment Agency (EA), Local Planning Authority (LPA), Lead Local Flooding Authority (LLFA), water companies and other relevant authorities legislation and guidelines, such as NPPF, TAN15 and SPP. We have worked on the strategic flood risk management (SFRM) for the Environment Agency preparing for the flood mapping outlines in flood zone3, zone2 and zone1 including project appraisal optioneering studies, flood mitigation and flood alleviation schemes. We also assist the local authorities with surface water management plans (SWMPs), flood forecasting and flood risk assessment to protect and maintain the existing assets due to climate change, wave overtopping, and embankment breaches etc.
